Vendor Groups are a crucial component of the Accounts Payable module’s Vendor Master Data. We may specify which fields are displayed, whether they are required, or if they are not, for each vendor group. Every account group will eventually have a number range assigned to it as well.

The list of all predefined groups is visible when you open the transaction. You could change an existing group or start a new one.
The following will appear while you are in change mode for some of the accounting groups. You must click on the field status groups at the bottom to highlight a few of them before selecting “Edit field status” to access the field status options. The field groups could also be double-clicked directly. These field statuses are distinct parts of any vendor master data and are frequently kept up to date by various departments – Accounting, Purchasing and Administration.
