Cloud Foundry’s environment allows you to build polyglot cloud apps. It includes the SAP Cloud Framework, Cloud Foundry runtime service, which is based on the Cloud Foundry Foundation’s open-source application platform.

Multiple runtimes, programming languages, libraries, and services are supported by the Cloud Foundry environment, allowing you to create new business apps and services. You can use a variety of build packs, including community-developed and self-developed ones. It also works with SAP HANA advanced model and extended application services (SAP HANA XSA).

The following are the course’s main highlights:

1. First, we’ll learn about cloud offerings, what PaaS is, what Cloud Foundry (SAP and Pivotal) is, and why it’s important.

2. We will then learn how Cloud Foundry (CF) works.

3. We will learn about Cloud Apps in Cloud Foundry from an architectural perspective.

4. We’ll learn about Cx and CI (Continuous Integration) to develop a solid foundation for Maven, Maven builds, and DevOps.

5. We then work with the Spring Boot Framework to build simple apps.

6. We add to the complexity by using the PostgreSQL database, then the Elephant Database in the Cloud, and finally the HDI Container in the Cloud.

Cloud Foundry by SAP®. Our primary focus is on bespoke Side-by-Side Application Development.

7. Once we’ve mastered Spring Boot, we’ll look at how our app fits into a Microservice scenario and construct NodeJS.

Create a single microservice-based app using an app, a Spring Boot app, and an approuter, and deploy it to SAP Cloud Foundry (SCF)

8. The next step will be to protect our app in SCF using the XSUAA service.

9. We’ve learnt Microservice Apps creation so far; now it’s time to study about CAPM (Cloud Application Platform Management).

11.After that, we’ll learn about Docker, how to create containers with it, and how to deploy Docker containers in SAP Cloud Foundry. Using the CAPM App
